Adult Services Highlight — November 2025

The next time you’re attending one of our programs, please take a look at our jewelry display cases featuring unique pieces that will be for sale during the Friends of the Library Gold and Silver Pop Up Sale. Shoppers will find necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and more for every style and budget. The event will be held at the Library, 75 Maple Street, on Sunday, December 14, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Summit Free Public Library.

Jewelry is donated by community members, giving shoppers the chance to buy unique items while supporting the Library’s programs and services. Free museum passes, music programs, new technology, and many other services are made possible by these contributions and the Friends’ fundraising efforts. By donating unused jewelry, residents help the Library maintain and expand these resources for the community. Jewelry donations are accepted year-round at the Library.

The Friends of the Summit Free Public Library is a volunteer organization of local residents dedicated to enhancing Library services. Membership is open year-round, and information is available at the Library and on the Friends’ website at summitfriendsofthelibrary.wildapricot.org. Membership and donations are tax-deductible. For any questions about the Friends, please email sfplfriends@gmail.com.
