Are you looking forward to the new 7 part series “All Creatures Great and Small” premiering this Sunday January 10th on PBS Masterpiece as much as we are? If you haven’t read the delightful James Herriot stories behind the series, now is a great time. We have them here at the Summit Library in print and in downloadable electronic format for ebook or eaudiobook. We also have the original TV adaptation from BBC on DVD which ran for seven seasons. Which series will you like better?
There are so many ways to enjoy these delightful and true stories of a veterinarian working in Yorkshire in the 1930s. All you have to do is place a hold on any of the items from our catalog or call the library 908 273-0350 x 3 for assistance in placing your reserve. After the hold is fulfilled by library staff, you will receive an email alert. Once you get the email, please call the library 908 273-0350 x 2 when you are within 20 minutes of arriving for lobby pickup. At that point the materials will be checked out to your account and placed in a bag with your name on it in the lobby.
And for anyone who misses the new PBS Masterpiece 7 part series airing this Sunday, the library WILL be getting the series on DVD by the end of February!
