Teen Volunteers

Submit your hours for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award

School Year 2024-2025

We love our teen volunteers and are excited that you have signed up to volunteer with us. If you volunteer with us to earn any required hours for school, you are also welcome to volunteer all year long, not just to finish your requirements.
 
However, if you love your community and want to make an impact above and beyond your required community service, we encourage you to do so. The library is now a certifying agency for the President’s Volunteer Service Award. This award shows your dedication to serving the Summit Free Public Library and the greater Summit Community. To be eligible for this award, you must volunteer the following number of hours from June 14, 2023, thru June 13, 2024:
  • Ages 11-15: 50-100+ hours
  • Ages 16-graduating seniors: 100-250+ hours

If your community service hours meet or exceed this criteria, please fill out the form below completely by either attaching a spreadsheet or other chart of your hours, or by copying and pasting your hours in the spaces below. A library staff member will contact you shortly to confirm your submission.
