From the Director - November 2017

Thanksgiving is upon us and your holiday guests will soon be at the door. If you are thinking about shaking up the menu this year, be sure to check out the wonderful cookbook collection at the Summit Library. You'll be able to find all the holiday favorites as well as some new twists on tradition. If you don't have time to get to the library, check out our online magazines on Zinio. You'll surely find some mouth-watering recipes in the November issue of Eating Well, Rachel Ray Every Day, Food Network, Good Housekeeping or Martha Stewart Living. Zinio is easily accessed through the Summit Library website. All you need is your Summit library card and once you download the magazine, it is yours to keep so that next year, you can easily repeat your successful recipes. These are just a few of the magazines available on Zinio. After the cooking is done and the dishes are put away, you might also want to check out The Economist, House Beautiful, Forbes, Esquire, The New Yorker and more.

Don't forget your friends and neighbors who are less fortunate than you this holiday season. The Summit Library will be collecting food from November 27th through December 18th. All food collected will be donated to a local food pantry.
