Summer time is a great time to visit the library. If you are travelling this summer, you can find a great destination and plan your itinerary with help from the library's extensive travel collection. Stock up on some great beach reads or the required summer reading titles for the kids. Grab some DVDs to keep the kids occupied on those long car rides. Pick up a Playaway book to listen to on hikes. Reserve museum passes early and plan your outings to one of the museums in the library's free museum pass program. Travelling light? Then load up your devices with eBooks and eAudio books from our free eBook selections through Overdrive, OneClick Digital, Hoopla and Tumblebooks available from the library website. Whatever format you prefer for books, remember that adults can also sign up for the Summer Reading Program and be eligible for prize drawings. Register online or at the Reference Desk.
If you are participating in Summit's One Book One Community, pick up your copy of The Blind Side by Michael Lewis at the library and mark your calendar to participate in one of two discussions on the book on either Friday, September 15th at 12:30 or Wednesday, September 27th at 7:30 pm. The library is your source for all your summer needs!
We are still looking for feedback on how we can provide excellent library service. Click HERE to let us know! Don't like online surveys? That's okay. Fill out a paper survey the next time you visit the library. Thank you for your time and your suggestions.
