PT Public Relations and Marketing Associate: 25 hours a week. $18 – $20/hour.
The Summit Free Public Library is seeking a social media expert to advertise and market the Library’s services and programs. Candidates must be able to write press releases for traditional publications as well as promote events and services through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Patch, TapInto, Constant Contact, Wowbrary and more. Responsibilities include monthly and weekly newsletters and creation/updating of brochures and flyers, as needed, in consultation with programming staff. Position requires a good working relationship with other City of Summit Departments, as well as the Summit Schools and community organizations.
Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college and experience on social media. A current portfolio of successful written marketing and publicity work is a plus.
