You already knew that your library card is the smartest card in your wallet but now your Summit library card just got more valuable. Besides giving you access to everything the Library has to offer, your card can help you save money during the month of September! September is Library Card Sign-Up month in many libraries across the country including the Summit Free Public Library. Show your Summit library card at nineteen of your favorite Summit businesses from September 1-30 and receive a discount or gift. Participating businesses include Bonji Bowls, Dunkin’ Donuts (all 3 Summit locations), The Eatery, Edible Arrangements, Esperanza Salon & Spa, Girl from Ipanema Spa, Joe’s Ristorante & Pizzeria, Juice Caboose, Kidville, Marigolds, Pokay, Schroth & Lorenson, Scotti’s Record Shop, Smoothie King, Summit Health Shoppe, Summit YMCA, Sweet Nothings, Twisted, and The UPS Store of Summit.
Want to take advantage of these great offers but don’t have a card? Then now is the time to stop in and apply for your card. Don’t forget that when September ends and the deals expire, you can still use your library card to access the library’s great collection of books, music CDs, DVDs, and more. You can also use it from home to access online databases and check out eBooks, eAudio books and eMagazines. Your Summit library card entitles you to borrow one of our wonderful museum passes including our newest passes for the Summit Area YMCA and The Connection. So as you can see, your library card is the smartest card in your wallet. Be on the lookout for the colorful “Show your library card” posters and start saving.
