Consider becoming a a Banned Book Bandit!
Banned Books Bandits will help the library celebrate 2023 Banned Books Week, by reading an excerpt of a banned book aloud in front of an audience in the Liss Meeting room on Wednesday October 4 at 7 PM.
What you do:

Choose a banned book on the Google form provided, or by signing up to be a Teen Volunteer for the 2023-24 school year.

Research who banned the book, and why it was banned.

Choose a passage from the book, and practice reading it aloud.

Meet with Ms. Ann-Marie during the week of September 25, to practice reading aloud the work that you chose.

Present your results and read the excerpt from your book in person on October 4 at 7 PM.
If you complete this task, you will earn five hrs of community service.
