What’s the next best thing to physically browsing our shelves for books and movies? Doing it from home! Head to our website and click on “Browse Our Shelves” under the “Resources” tab. Choose a category to see all the offerings within it. You can then place holds on books or call us for assistance at 908-273-0350.
This resource was especially valuable during the peak of COVID lockdowns, but it is still a valuable tool, particularly if you’re looking for a specific genre or are short on time. We offer a range of browsing categories, including historical fiction, spy novels, dog and cat mysteries, specialized collections, and more. If you have suggestions for additional categories, please let us know! We’re always looking to improve this growing resource.
Book clubs know the struggle of finding enough copies of a book for everyone. We have a solution: Book Club Kits! The Library owns multiple copies of a variety of titles, both fiction and nonfiction, perfect for book club discussions.
For the most up-to-date list of book club titles, visit our ongoing list in the catalog here. Book club titles, whether borrowed individually or as kits, have a six-week loan period with the option to renew twice (as long as no one else is waiting). You can borrow as many available copies as your group needs. No more stressing about finding the right book for your next meeting! There are so many options to choose from.
