2024 marks the 150th anniversary of the Summit Free Public Library. Hundreds of dedicated people since 1873 have helped create and grow this institution from its humble beginnings in a rented room, including Andrew Carnegie, Madame Chiang Kai-Shek, Henry Van Dyke, and many other notable figures and local heroes. We are proud to celebrate their commitment and their many accomplishments through a video documentary of the Library’s rich history.
