Make a Difference in a Child's Life…Donate a New Book
Started in 1991, "Books for Kids" is a statewide program sponsored by the New Jersey Library Association's Children's Services Section. This program is undertaken with the hope that all children will be able to experience the joy of reading books of their very own. Each year, with the help of over 200 libraries, thousands of books are distributed to children across the state.
From November 6 thru December 10, 2016, Summit Free Public Library is accepting donations of new and gently used books for elementary school children in Grades K-5. Please bring your book donations to the Children's Department and place them in the designated box next to the Ask Us Desk.
Thank you for making a difference in a child's life.
